A worthy follow-up to Dragonfall. A shiny new matrix adds to the mechanics, while the cutscenes draw you deeper into the story. Now comes with a big epilogue to stay in the Sixth World even longer.

Start for the gorgeous FPS, stay for the story. Interesting characters, fiendish villain, fascinating setting. Also special props for a Dr. Strangelove reference.

Controversial recommendation, but an excellent Sci-Fi story at its core. Don't go in expecting pure horror/pure sci-fi and just wallow in the story, then talk about it with friends.

Modern take on Syndicate. Beautifully realized cyberpunk world with a nice set of real time tactical elements. AI's a little daft. Still, solid game.

Simply one of the finest turn based strategy games you can play today. Takes everything that was great about the first, and takes it to the next level.

A very charming puzzle game that makes an effort to shed light on a largely undertreated war: World War I (The Great War). There will be tears.

A delightfully fun little casual restaurant sim with some of my favourite sound work in a game. Every now and again I like to reopen Heck's Kitchen.

A nice take on the 4X genre that's since inspired later takes on the genre. Still holds up, and scratches the itch of running your own space empire.

Does this even need a recommendation? The great granddaddy of strategy games, and still one of the best games (never mind strategy) you can play on PC.

It's Chess with wizards. Julian Gollop is my master after this. Nice blend of strategy with random chance. Encourages thinking on your feet.
