If there has ever been a character that better embodies 'the man' than Geralt, I think I missed the game. This is easily my favorite fantasy WRPG.

Depending on your thematic preference, an Elder Scrolls game could be here as well, as both are great, but I prefer sci-fi to fantasy, so Fallout it is.

This is a very divisive game, but I consider it to be more loyal to the classic Castlevania games in terms of foused action than the 'Metroidvanias'.
