Excellent writing and characters let down by a lack of attention to detail, dated game design, and bugs. It has moments of brilliance, and I would recommend it, but it's not the Best Game Ever.

A compelling mix of television of video games with a mildly interesting story and some great acting. Unfortunately, the gameplay won't blow your mind, but it's still worth a play on the cheap.

Despite wasted characters and some serious tonal imbalance, Far Cry 5 provides a fun, organic feeling sandbox to romp around in. Not the best in class, to be sure, but there's fun to be had.

A very interesting world to blast and chuck debris through. Great on a technical level, excellent gameplay, and an interesting story told via well acted and realized characters. Recommended for sure.

A creative setting and decent gameplay hindered by some bugs and wasted lore potential. Cool factions that never get quite fleshed out enough, gameplay that never quite nails it, but still a fun time.

A solid first person melee crunchfest inspired by Dark Souls, DOOM, Vermintide, and likely others. Not super long, but good fun for what it is. Slay your way, rip and tear, and enjoy some fun combat!

Basically a hidden object game with the juggling of resources and a fantasy story, but a surprisingly decent and relaxing game to blow a few hours on.

A fresh take on turn-based tactics that features some skill based gameplay fairly unique to the genre. All wrapped up in a great aesthetic and lots of hats. Curse you, manual aiming! Good stuff.
