The demo alone is incredibly addicting. If you sort of enjoy deckbuilders like Slay the Spire or Monster Train, but really enjoy Vampire Survivors, this thing is gonna knock your socks off.

If you enjoyed Satisfactory, but had some quibbles about it, consider StarRupture. Right now it's in a pretty early state, but it fixes some of the problems I have with first-person factory games.

Buggy, ugly, and lacking features from many of the previous games, it's difficult to imagine how Stronghold 3 even happened, let alone recommending it to someone.

I haven't played much of this game, I'll be honest: but the tutorial alone is worth the price of admission.

Thin, ugly, and kind of funny, it's an idle game that gets dull too quickly.

The second Prey is a much better version of Bioshock... but I could still take or leave it. The sense of paranoia it evokes just isn't what I'm personally here for.

To be very clear: this game IS NOT a Frog Fractions sort of mind-blowing experience. It's just a neat little meditation on the nature of randomization and how people imbue chance with meaning.

The second Battlefront 2 is a mess for a whole host of reasons, but I can't help but come back to it occasionally for the solid shooting and gorgeous art.

It's free, but is it worth your time? As long as you can tolerate surrealism, absolutely. Gorgeous, strange, referential art and jokes delivered consistently. Maybe not for everyone, but nothing is.

Politics aside, this remaster just runs too terribly (even on high-end hardware) to recommend to anyone, no matter how artful it is. Wait for the community Skyrim port instead.
