The 5th or 6th time this game is revived. Hellgate pioneered the looter-shooter formula, mixing FPS with Diablo, but the execution never worked due to many balance issues, dull maps & MMO-like quests.

A one-man project to revive old-school RPGs in the 2000s, is a solid RPG that offers a satisfying combat and a lot of freedom. Book II is a big improvement, but Book III is somewhat disappointing.

One of the best Diablo II clones, offers a massive open world, fun classes (some can fly!), skill combos and lets you fight on horseback. A must-play if you enjoy the genre.

The last RPG published by Black Isle Studios, uses the Fallout ruleset & has a fantastic "Renaissance era with magic" setting but everything else feels like a cancelled title that somehow was released

NOT a Diablo clone, but rather a Chinese CRPG in the style of Baldur's Gate & Divine Divinity. Suffers from bad voice acting and a few bad design choices like respawning enemies, but it's a solid RPG.

The best game in the series, it's like Diablo but you control 6 heroes at once with RTS-like controls. A bit bland, but it's fun to optimize your party. Use mods to unlock a bigger party size earlier.

A technical marvel at the time, gives you 8 party members to control in an RTS-like way, exploring a large seamless world. Sold as a "Diablo killer",suffers from the RPG side being far too streamlined

An old-school roguelike inspired by classic D&D, with very a modern mouse-driven UI, challening encounters, large maps and the option to recruit NPC companions to help you.

KotC2 offers two very challenging old-school D&D 3.5 adventures, plus a toolset for you to make your own modules. A great game & the best RPG toolset since NWN2, but sadly doesn't have a community yet

The indie Chinese hit of 2021, it's an open-world “cultivation” roguelike, combining influences like Mount & Blade, Binding of Isaac and CYOA books to create something unique. Still in Early Access.
