Varför Early Access?

“Shuffle Quest is the first ever project of a group of five friends, it has been in the making for more than four years with no resources beside our free time and ingenuity, and in that time it has been remade from the ground up, not once, not twice, not thrice but four times.

Each time we showed what we had and learned from that feedback to make Shuffle Quest the game we knew we wanted to make since the beginning. We are so very close to achieving that vision, but we still need your support and feedback to ensure Shuffle Quest becomes the most kick-ass first-game ever.”

Ungefär hur länge kommer det här spelet att vara i Early Access?

“We plan to have the full game ready in 3-6 months, but this may change depending on the feedback we receive and the amount of content we decide to include at release or in later updates.”

Hur är det tänkt att den fullständiga versionen ska skilja sig från versionen i Early Access?

“The main differences will lay on the quality of the online service, improvements on user experience based on the experience of actual users, quality of life upgrades and, most importantly, the amount of content included in the game.

We have pages upon pages upon pages of already planned and tested features we want to add, including new characters, enemies and events, customization and accessibility options, experimental mechanics and tons of easter eggs, but first of all we will make Shuffle Quest shine with what it already has: an easy to learn ever expanding challenge for both casual gobslayers and hardcore card-slinging munchkins.”

Hur är det nuvarande läget i versionen med Early Access?

“Right now we are still figuring out how to make the online features as smooth as possible before we enable them and the explosions as explosive as can be exploded. Many of our visual assets and sound effects may change, but the fundamentals of the game from the "About this" section are already done and dusted, the main additions to be added are the co-op featurues and more content aside from the core events, cards and fights.”

Kommer spelet att prissättas annorlunda under och efter Early Access?

“We don't plan on changing the price.”

Hur planerar ni att involvera gemenskapen i er utvecklingsprocess?

“We've already extensively tested the fundamentals of the game and we are extremely happy with the experience it can theoretically provide. What we need now is for the players that will actually be spending their precious time in the game what can be improved.

We want to use the insight of game breaking builds and ridiculous deaths to see what is a bug and what is a feature, we want to see how fast can the game be speedrun by better players than ourselves to see how can we streamline the gameplay and capture the laughter to power up pork society, I mean nourish our own community for it to create the content they want to play”
