• Excised is a first person action horror experience set in a dystopian city where you, a fugitive, are relentlessly hunted by a cast of formidable enemies with many dynamic and emergent ways for you to overcome them.

• Be inventive and develop your own approach towards obstacles, maybe use a non-violent indirect method to evade your pursuers. Devise ambushes and craft your playstyle with weapon, trap, tool and power combinations: violence or subterfuge -- the choice is yours.

• Excised encourages players to plan their next steps and to always be on the move. Even staying still and out of sight exposes the player to danger.

• Outwit dynamic and proactive AI that actively follows clues, including footprint and blood trails, and even takes shortcuts, blocks escape routes, and predicts your moves.

- ESCALATING TENSION -

Fight against time as you find a way to escape the city, before the Mind Maze sends out a resonating pulse, pulling back any escapees into its mechanical rhythm. Over time the city narrows its gaze, ratcheting up the pressure with every wrong step you take. Sooner or later the city will find you - endure the increasing difficulty or find a way to delay it.

- UNFORGIVING COMBAT -

With no hand holding you will be thrown into brutal combat with relentless and aggressive enemies, each with their own unique abilities and tactics, which demand both grit and quick wits to overcome.

Use stealth, or plan ahead by setting traps to slow your pursuers down or to shake them off your trail.

The enemies in this metropolis are not so easily fooled - they learn from their engagements and will actively stalk and track you.

- UNIQUE AI and STEALTH -

Excised pushes what a stealth game can be. We expanded and twisted what stealth means to the player and the AI, making stealth gameplay dynamic, keeping the player on the move and always on edge, driving forth the feeling of being in a psychological thriller.

Clue System: Whether it be a blown out candle, bloodstains or dead bodies left behind by a previous battle, or a trail of footprints leading right to your location, every action you take leaves behind a lasting consequence. The more of a commotion you make, the more enemies will communicate and exchange intel and more effectively hunt you down. Be wary as even your shadow and your silhouette can betray you.

- SHADOW POWERS -

Shadow Powers are wielded by the city's detectives to spy on its citizens and investigate reports of dissent -- lucky for you, you were once one of them.

A mysterious island awaits, harboring the means of unlocking your potential... At first you have only your Stealth Shield, but discovering new powers will unlock further gameplay possibilities.
